Fire Masters (dba of RM Services, Inc.) is an industry leader in fire suppression services including semi-annual kitchen system testing, installations, upgrades, UL-300 compliance, fire extinguisher service (Class ABC, Class K, etc.), hydrostatic testing and on-site training.
What is included in a fire suppression system service?

(1) Inspect and service kitchen hood fire suppression systems twice annually.

(2) Replace all fusible links.

(3) Perform system trip test.

(4) Inspect portable fire extinguishers and perform required maintenance. Portable fire extinguishers must be emptied and hydrostatic tested every 5, 6 or 12 years, depending on the classification. Also, extinguishers may require recharging if the retardant falls below the minimum quantity.

(5) Replace blow caps and nozzle seals when worn/damaged. Blow caps and nozzle seals must be replaced when worn or damaged.

(6) Sign and date a Fire Masters service decal on the hood system and extinguishers for Insurance Company and Fire Marshal compliance.

(7) Make the manager on duty aware of any fire suppression issues that would keep the system from working properly after our scheduled service.

(8) FREE training on the use of the system.
